My poor little blog, sooo neglected, love crafting (and not enough days in the week), so the little time i do get, would rather spend playing with glitters, ribbons and glues, rather on the PC.
Been learning loads of new things over the last couple of months, and with lots of encouragement, and lovely comments, hints and tips from my crazy twinny from a last life 'Mandy Stacey' (A Sprinkling of Glitter) - not forgetting loads of patience on her behalf, i am now loving shabby chic, its a place i have always wanted to be, and i am getting there slowly but surely.
Have also been spending time practising with promarkers and copics (so glad i am not recorded in my craft room when learning these pens, not a pretty sight - would have to sprinkle glitter all over the camera lens so nobody could see or hear)!
Another new thing i have learnt is making moulds and also using air drying clay - great fun!
Another of my huge achievements - i have actually finally managed to turn my Silhouette Cameo on AND create a few things with it - for someone who is a techie phobic, this is a massive achievement for me.
One of the lovely things in the 'crafting world', everyone is so lovely, so helpful and supportive - its a real nice place to be
Found a fab local 'ish' shop that sells loads of nice goodies and they also do classes, they really took the scarey side of brayering out of it for me - its always so friendly at Dandie Crafts, they make you feel like part of the family - so glad i found this place. The products they sell, they have samples of it in use, which really inspires you and of course, you can do the touchy feely stuff with the products to.
So best i get some piccies up on here and work this blog into life otherwise Mandy is going to be making out i am the naughty 'twin' and shes the 'good' twin ... YEAH RIGHT! in her dreams ;-) xxxx
