DT Project for Silhouette UK. Playpen with pram using Silouettes printable canvas

The printable canvas is truly AWESOME, its so soft and flexible, cuts small areas as you can see and is also self adhesive. I printed this on my HP laserjet and it came out lovely, the Cameo had no problems cutting it at all.

This cutey little pram file was SVG cuts, fits together perfectly

I designed this playpen myself on the cameo, its basically adapted from my exploding box i  designed.  I also designed the scalloped ribbon threader on the cameo too

DT for Silhouette UK, Hen Party Invite

I purchased this file from Sil, so easy to put together, and of course, theres lot of things you could use this style for, decorate it up all vintage would look awesome too (when i get some time, going to have to do that) :-)

DT work for Silhouette UK, Wedding Planner with matching items

Phew! finally finished this project, totally loved doing it, but lots of new learning curves for me. I used the Designer edition to make a lot of it from scratch.  The doors were a file i purchased from Sil, i cut the pair of doors twice, so i could also cut an offset of the doors in acetate to sandwich between each layer, giving me window panes.

What can i say ! I am totally in love with the sketch pens and sketch feature - oh my word, they are just simply exquisite, this silver pen, the amount of sketching i used it for on this project, and theres still plenty of ink left !
Box to keep planner in nice and safe, designed on design studio
matching ring box

these fonts are just divine, its called 'Cherubs' ... of course, what else would it be called lol

thought these little envelopes i made were perfect for putting those little reciepts that we all tend to lose , i put one in the inside cover and one in the back

Each tab you see have headers written on them i.e. table plan, bridesmaids, guests, evening party etc etc

See that silver pen again - love, love, love it
box i designed myself on Design studio
confetti file i purchased from sil, and of course you can cut it whatever size you want, could even use them as embellishments

pillow box i purchased from sil

DT for Silhouette !!

Some very exciting news to share - have been asked to be a DT for Silhouette UK - am very nervous, but also very excited.  The Design Teams work is going to be shown on Create and Craft to promote the Silhouette and the new exciting products that are being released.  So best me and my little Cammie (fondly referred to as my little plug monster) become on best of terms - i dont use her to her best of abilities so we are going to have lots of fun.
Our first theme is going to be ...... you will have to see, but its one of my favourite themes and we are being given pretty much free reign, my first profect i am going to make is going to be something i have been thinking on doing for a long time, but had no reason to do so, and now i have an excellent reason.

Another exciting chapter in my life, i have just bought a speedboat - quite strange actually as i cant swim and get horrendously seasick - my hubbys passion in life is boats and i have always struggled with going on his boat, but this little speedboat is kind to me, i havent been ill once, so i can finally support hubby with his passion now :-)

Well, time for me to have a play with my little plug monster, thanks for popping by
Much love and hugs xxxx

House Mouse's House Storybox for GDT Joanna Sheen

I done this story box for the GDT Joanna Sheen blog - a great priveledge for me as this is one of my favourite shops, especially being the main home of House Mouse.
I love doing shabby chic and exploding boxes, but wanted to do something fun for this challenge. I love these little mice and their adventures and had been thinking about making a little story for them for a while now, so this was an opportunity to do it. Its a box with a story that a parent and child or grandparents can sit down with their little one and make up little adventures, with lots of texture on it too. It then makes a nice keepsake ornament for their bedroom to cherish those moments of childhood.

I had to do embossing, so tried to incorporate 3 different styles of embossing. Firstly i used the triple House mouse cd to get my flowers and resized them all different sizes, cut them all out (which was a task in itself cutting all those flowers out, but very therapeutic). I printed the pictures that i thought were perfect for the story to fit around my little swimming pool i wanted to make for them.                                                                                          The 1st was the wet embossing, dipping the large flower into UTEE in my melting pot, the second was using an embossing plate for the walls, then inking them with distress inks, the 3rd was after i had cut out all the purple flowers (including the large one), i used an embossing tool to curl and shape.
The pool was just a seal proof bag with hair gel inside, some flowersoft round the edges (makes lovely texture), diecut some grass and inked

Hope you all enjoy the idea - these little mice really are perfect for any occassion and theres so much on the CD's to do so many stories with.
Thank you for calling by and have a fantabulous day xxxx

How excited am I .....

Didnt manage to get on PC til late tonight, 1st thing was to check emails - whilst looking through the 'bloglovin' email, i see something catch my eye and think, hang on a min, that looks very much like mine - and yep - it was my House Mouse tissue box holder - so I click on it - only to go to Joanna Sheens website and i am Daily Talent Spot !!!!  - I felt like i had found the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow - Well, to say i was excited is a huge understatement!  My entire family thought i was stark raving mad (actually, they are probably right on that count) - i was running around the house laughing/screaming trying to drag everyone to come looksee the website.
Talk about a confidence booster, it was an amazing feeling.  I get so much enjoyment of making my things, i put my heart and soul into them, so when i see people like them as well - well, thats magic :-)

So anyway, i want to show off this fab fab fab Daily Talent Spot ...
